Our living planet has given us many beautiful things. The crystals are one of them. For thousands of years, crystals have been used for their beauty and power. The ancient Sumerians used crystals to perform magical spells. The Egyptians used crystals such as lapis lazuli and emerald to make jewels and amulets. Both crystals were used for protection. The ancient Greeks used amethyst to maintain sobriety and hematite to protect them in battle.
Jewelry made of crystals is not only beautiful but powerful. The Chinese used jade for beads and statues. Once I saw an ancient Chinese funeral suit made entirely of jade. It was incredible. American Indians have used turquoise in their jewelry.
The crystals were created when the earth formed. They continue to transform as our planet changes. The rough crystals may not be as attractive as polished glass, but they are just as powerful. Being a living planet, everything that comes from the earth contains a vibration of energy. The energy that created crystals remains within each individual. There is an atom and particles inside each crystal that is where the vibrations emanate from.
When I started collecting crystals it was because I found them aesthetically pleasing. While other young girls ate the diamonds, I was picking up crystals. For me, they are beautiful and much more valuable than diamonds. As I got older I learned that crystals have metaphysical powers to help and heal. The more I learned, the more fascinated I felt.
I am a paranormal researcher and writer. While doing paranormal research in the last seven years, I learned that not everything is black and white. To get what you want, you have to give something. This is the way crystals work. To tune the energy vibrations of the crystals, one must be able to concentrate and use the mind.
My dear friend is empathic and average. I've seen her use pendulums to talk to spirits and divination rods to find portals. I recently gave her a Chakra pendant for her birthday. Immediately he held it like a pendulum in the palm of his hand and began to move. She was not moving either. It moved by itself. I ask how he does it. She told me to focus on him and then imagined the energy moving through his arm towards the hand that was under the pendulum. Then imagine the energy moving like a whirlwind. This was a way to read my energy. I tried and I was surprised. It worked! Although my friend has incredible abilities with which she was born, she says that we all have these abilities. The problem is that we have to learn to use them.
Researchers Nat and Tony Bondar call this concentration a "way of thinking". According to his research, the more he concentrates on thinking, the bigger and more powerful he becomes. They studied the Chakras and found an energy highway that runs through our bodies.
If you are interested in trying to cure with crystals, it is worth investigating. Like everything else we learn, to do it well we have to practice, practice and practice. I have been working on healing with my crystals and so far I have had some progress.
